The ugly side...

Everybody has to deal with their problems at some point of their life, for my brother it was his obese problem. When he become fit, and one day I overheard this conversion of him with my mom saying how he hated people to call him fatty or something along the line. Well, he overcome his problem. For once, I thought "hey, he is determine and organise", but that changed yesterday.
For what he did, all the flaws just flood into my mind, everything I thought of him as good become ugly. He's self-centred, and he always keeps his own things clean but not in the thoughts of others.
I don't care if he reads my blog or not, it's better if he read it then he'll know, I don't like to express my displease of other unless they really get to my nerves.

Apparently, its a tactic used by Bill Gates to sell XP to the Japanese... I wonder if they'll do the same to vista?

A simple remark?

People loves to make remarks especially towards other people, be it a bombarded one or a simple one it could've meant no harm. Sometimes, no knowingly we make remarks that seem simple... well, just to provoke laughter, but to others it could be insulting and therefore, hurting that person deeply...

Its been awhile since my last post... ITS school holiday! There's not much happening, its all eat-sleep-work-play. Nothing much had triggered me to write, even if there is, its either I don't've the urge to write it down or I dunno how to translate it into words (or at least I do not want to)... Perhaps, when school term starts I'll have more things to share, its just one week away!...

Compare games now to 10 years ago, there's a big difference, the technological advancement, you can do more than just playing games. Now you can even direct your characters in doing certain actions and recording them down using screenshots or ingame recorder and edit them to your likings. Granado Espada provides such feature...

Well, the exams are finally over, and now comes the holidays... Yay! I've been yearning this "stressfree-ness" like forever... I think I did quite terribly for this semester, I really hope I can get through it without retaking any modules...

In the midst of this stressfree-ness, I think many people will do the same think as I am, think about things, the past, the present and the future. Think about the first day in school, the orientation and how everyone get together, and who sit besides you, and how the class break into groups and how friends grow to love each other to not talking to one another for no reason, or maybe there is but they just don't want to talk about it. And remember how everyone join SIT club with all the enthusiasm to have fun and know more friends, friends that you'll never know you'll become close with, and friends that will take in all your shits that you never thought anyone will.

Everyone changed, or maybe I just failed to accept certain things, certain aspects about myself or others...

SIT Club...

Its been half a year already, it's hard believe how I actually spent my last semestral holiday there, and how many friends I came to know, the happy times we've been through together. I've never know so many people in a few weeks time. I've also never in life that I use so much English to communicate with people. There's so many "first" in SIT club... After the Orientation, many people loses interest and enthusiasm due to school work or even their personal reasons, I was on the verge too, but still I made it to 1 of the 4 post Orientation events, that is Phat Nite IV...

During the chalet, the very last chalet after all the events, it kinda reminds me of the orientation times as OGLs, how we laugh together and everything. As much as I know, I've grown to love and hate this place so much that I don't want to acknowledge it.

This is it, it's all over, is it? For me it is, but for others, they are only half way there...Wish everyone good luck.... and thank you!

881, the latest feature form Royston Tan, had created quite a lot of buzz when it came out. I always like the way he directs his film, he always have this documentary touch to it, with this voice over, it tells the story as the movie unfolds, and how he process the film, the use of flamboyant colours or sometimes perceived as a little bit too saturated, it adds a lomographic feel to it. The special effects used makes the movie more funny and interesting to look at, while some people may perceive it as a spoiler to the movie. There is this fantasyness in the movie and together with the special effects, it made it look very dramatic.

The music and songs plays a very important role in this movie, as it is subtitled as Singapore's first musical-themed movie. The success of a musical really depends on the songs in it. In this film, it has quite a number of catchy tunes, the songs is exactly like those sung on the "getai" but with contemporary touches in it.

The acting from the leads were great, they were able the bring out the characters they are portraying and it adds a little touching bits to the rather funny movie...

This movie tell us that sometimes ties with family and friends are not so easily broken, even though they show disconcern but it does not always mean they hate each other, it could be the strong-headedness that they failed to admit their love. It also gives the younger generation a look at the "getai"...

Just what friends do...

Close friends often think that if their best friend likes someone else too, then the supply of affection available to the original friend will diminish.

This may or may not be so, but the perception that affection is scarce may well create genuine conflict between the friends.

This thing happens and most of the time people choose not to confront it, and it'll worsen. And eventually friendships will fall out...

Maybe acknowledgement is what I really want... That is acknowledgement to everything... I guess...

Sibling's...

Being the youngest in the family is not always a good thing, eventhough you are showered with all the care and love, tremendous stress also befalls upon you. You'll have a feeling that you are living under your brother's and sister's shadows.

Sometimes, when you do things, you kinda follow their foot steps or sort. The way you do things or even the way you treat people reflects a lot on their characteristics, whether its good or bad. Maybe this is what growing up is about... People influences people, especially close ones.

Sometimes, when you tell your brother and sister something, they treat it as though you were stupid and spouting nonsense, they'll shut you out immediately leaving you a disbelieve look... Perhaps, its the age difference that cause all that, after all, they MAY have more "life" experience than you... Or maybe, its just you, how you look at the problem.

Being a single child has its advantage too... I guess...

Paranoia?

Things are getting rough now, school, projects, assignments, peer pressure...

As you grow older, you have more responsibility and more of it means more stress. When you're feeling stressed, you get trapped in the small world of yours, you'll think that everyone is so smart and good at what their doing and you'll feel depressed.

I always try to keep myself happy, when anything happens I'll try to forget it the next day... Why is everyone doing so hard? Maybe it is what it means to survive in this sociality. In turn, people may think that I'm shallow and not approachable...

Well, we have choices, I just choose not to affect the people around me...
